Fred Dudderar

Fred Dudderar has been officially opening the festival dating back to the era of Two Harbors Folk Festival.

He will perform on Saturday, as he has for the last 9 years, opening the festivities with his bagpipes.

There is little that stirs the blood and invigorates tradition than the sound of the pipes echoing through the trees and over the lake. The haunting sound of bagpipes makes a fitting opening tradition to our festival.

Kilt-clad in his regalia, he will perform traditional piping tunes during the opening of the main stage area on Saturday.
